I think actually they were probably look for pictures of http://gallery.future-i.com/folk/spencer/ although I may be wrong. Got any pictures of Marx to go with this?
Just spotted this! Oi Rob, no more M&S jokes please.
The reason "Spencer" came up high on the not-found list was I found some way of repeating my failed search for Spencer (even though Spencer as a folk did exist). Some sort of bug, but I can't for the life of me remember how i did it now… was so long ago!
Either that or Someone is desperately seeking out!
There were a few things wrong with all that 'failed searches' stuff, including the terms starting to do well on Google. The intention was that it would just cover not finding any pictures when you searched, but that was never very obvious.
There's almost nothing you can do to stop ballot-box stuffing without compromising something else (I just whipped out dodgy votes by hand). It's simpler to lose such a noddy idea.
