We used to accept mail for the people who had created galleries as galleryname@gallery.future-i.com. It did lead to a small number of useful conversations, but in general it was a spam magnet. Real addresses at the bottoms of pages are still a good thing, but that wasn't a very managable way to handle it. Now, we only accept mail to folk@gallery.future-i.com or web@future-i.com, which the administrators handle, and will pass messages on to other users as appropriate. To cope with spam to the folk address we ask that legitimate users put 'ossifrage' in their subject line.
By putting 'ossifrage' in your email subject line you are asserting that your mail is a message of praise or complaint about this Web site, or a report of someone abusing the service, composed and sent individually to this single address. If you claim this, but break these conditions - for example by sending bulk junk or commercial solicitations - then the operators of this site reserve the right to charge you forty UK pounds sterling or sixty euro per message received, whichever we prefer.
We know this may be hard to recover, but in territories with strong anti-spam laws we ought to stand a chance.
