Broken Images

If you are seeing broken images all over the place here it is most likely because your browser doesn't support the 'Portable Network Graphic' image format.

PNG is basically just a better format - you get smaller files, with scope for more detail, while downloading they make sense earlier than a comparable GIF. Best of all, PNG doesn't have all sorts of horrible legal entanglements. The W3C ratified it as a Web standard in 1996, so if your browser doesn't support it something is amiss.

We're counting the number of people who come to this page, but if you have an opinion over this and wish to express it more strongly than that please mail <folk@gallery.future-i.com> about it. If you want also include the funny techy bits from this page, which will help us diagnose what's going on...

All of the above is really if you are seeing broken images just about everywhere on the site. If there are a few isolated broken images then please report it to us (send the address of the page) and we'll sort it out.
