Without so much as a wake, Finnegan's has been replaced by a generic '2 meals for £5.99 and no decent beer' pub - the Gloucester Arms.
Finnies may have been a chain, but the landlord, Pat, was always welcoming, the food was above par and the Guinness was the best kept for some distance.
